NBC has put the final nail in Dracula's coffin.
The American network has opted to cut short the infamous vampire's quest for revenge, scrapping the big-budget series after just one series.
Dracula, which boasted a cast including The Tudors' Jonathan Rhys Meyers as the eponymous count, along with Jessica De Gouw, Thomas Kretschmann and Merlins' Kate McGrath, was a reimagining of Bram Stoker's classic novel and saw the notorious blood-sucker arrive in Victorian London posing as an American entrepreneur but intent on avenging the death of his long-dead wife.
The thriller, which was created by Cole Haddon, aired on Sky Living in the UK.
